Seeking Artisans

Plans for the 4th annual Holidays at the Homestead are in full swing. What began as a way to open the historic Mason home to the public during the winter holidays has turned into Leander’s only exclusively handcrafted artisan gift market and we are currently seeking local vendor artisans with handmade items.

Holidays at the Homestead is held at the historic 1865 Mason Homestead located at 1101 S. Bagdad Rd. in Leander, next door to the public library. Our goal is to make this venue affordable for local artisans while sharing the stories of this historic location.

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, November 21, 2026 from 10 am-5 pm.

What previous vendors say about the market . . .

“I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for having me at the Holiday at the Homestead event. I had such a wonderful experience and truly enjoyed being part of it.

The crowd was incredibly local and supportive, which made the day feel personal and community-focused—exactly the kind of atmosphere I love being part of. The response to my work was so encouraging, and it was clear that people appreciated handmade, local craftsmanship.

The rustic setting of the Homestead added so much charm to the event. It really fit the feel of my products and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. And the live local singers were a fantastic touch—hearing their music throughout the day created such a warm, festive vibe.

Thank you again for putting together such a meaningful community event.”

“Being a vendor at Holidays at the Homestead Christmas Market was absolute perfection on every level. I have never been part of such a well-planned event executed so beautifully by the staff. From the stunning grounds and beautiful weather to the most talented and unique artisans I’ve ever seen, it is an absolute must for years to come. Thank you!”

— Hollie Bussard, Trim Then & Now, 2025

“One of the reasons the event was such a success was because you were an excellent communicator. You paid attention to the details, laid the groundwork for the event well in advance, and made each vendor feel seen and valued. Even the follow-up communication was timely and thoughtful. Of course, the weather could not have been more beautiful. The other vendors were wonderful as well and even helped me with my tent. Well done!”

— Janet Vanderford, Taste of Heaven, 2025

“Thank you so much for letting me be part of your holiday festival, met some great people and made some new friends including other vendors, had a very profitable day.”
